Position SummaryWe are looking for a Director of Product Management to own the integration and platform experience across Mimecast’s product portfolio. This leader will be responsible for driving both internal integrations between Mimecast’s product suites (Email Security, Human Risk Management, Incydr Insider Risk, and Aware) and external integrations with third-party ecosystems (SIEM/SOAR, Identity, EDR/XDR, ITSM, and collaboration platforms).Equally critical, this role will champion a common look-and-feel initiative to unify the user experience across all Mimecast products – establishing design patterns, shared UI components, and a coherent platform identity that makes Mimecast feel like one product, not four.This is a platform product management role... meaning you’ll think horizontally across all suites, not vertically within one. You’ll be the connective tissue that turns our multi-product portfolio into a unified platform.3. Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Integration StrategyDefine and drive the integration roadmap across Mimecast’s product suites (Email Security, HRM, Incydr, Aware)Identify and prioritize cross-suite integration use cases that unlock customer value (e.g., unified risk scoring, shared threat intelligence, correlated alert workflows)Partner with suite-level PMs and engineering leads to ensure integration points are well-defined, API-first, and production-gradeOwn the internal platform services layer – shared authentication, common data models, event buses, and cross-product navigationExternal Integration & EcosystemOwn the external integration strategy and partner ecosystem roadmap (SIEM/SOAR, Identity/IAM, EDR/XDR, ITSM, collaboration tools)Define and govern the Mimecast Integration Framework – APIs, webhooks, connectors, and marketplace standardsPartner with Business Development and Alliances to prioritize technology partnerships and co-built integrationsDrive developer experience (DX) for third-party builders – documentation, SDKs, sandbox environments, and developer portalCommon Look & Feel / Platform UXChampion and own the “One Mimecast” UX vision – a unified design language, navigation model, and interaction pattern across all productsPartner with UX/Design leadership to establish and enforce a shared component library and design systemDefine the platform shell experience – common navigation, cross-product search, unified notifications, role-based dashboardsDrive convergence of disparate UIs into a cohesive platform experience over a phased roadmapEstablish UX consistency metrics and customer satisfaction benchmarks across productsCross-Functional LeadershipServe as the primary PM liaison for platform-level decisions – coordinating across suite PMs, engineering, design, and architectureBuild and present the integration and platform strategy to executive leadership, Customer Advisory Boards, and at industry eventsPartner with Customer Success and Support to identify integration pain points and prioritize fixesContribute to the “No Reason to Leave” D&C framework through improved cross-product stickiness and reduced friction5. Required Qualifications5+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in platform, integration, or developer-facing product rolesDemonstrated experience managing cross-product or horizontal platform PM functions at a multi-product software companyDeep understanding of API design, integration architecture patterns (REST, GraphQL, webhooks, event-driven), and developer ecosystemsTrack record of driving UX consistency and design system adoption across multiple product linesExperience working in cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, or IT infrastructure marketsStrong executive communication skills – ability to present to C-suite, board, and customer audiencesProven ability to influence without direct authority across engineering, design, and business teamsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus)6. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
