This role is ideal for a seasoned design leader with a deep understanding of UX strategy, systems thinking, and human-centered design — especially within the context of HealthTech or MedTech and with an eye towards consumer experience.We’re building fast, and we need someone who thrives in a dynamic, startup environment — someone who’s proactive, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by the opportunity to build from scratch. You’ll drive UX standards, processes, and policies, mentor a growing team, and help shape product experiences that make a real difference in people’s health and lives.Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!What You’ll Do:Strategic LeadershipDefine and drive the UX vision and strategy across the product portfolioDevelop and implement scalable UX processes, frameworks, and governance policiesChampion a user-centered culture across product and engineeringTeam Management & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and help grow a multidisciplinary UX team Set performance standards and career growth plans for team membersCreate a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive design environmentExperience DesignEstablish and maintain design systems and accessibility standardsOversee end-to-end UX efforts, from discovery and research through executionEnsure cohesive product experiences across web and mobile platformsDrive design performance and effectiveness based on data and strategic KPIsCollaboration & ExecutionWork closely with product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders to align priorities and resourcesTranslate complex healthcare workflows and data into elegant user experiencesUse metrics and user insights to measure design impact and iterateYou’ll also be envisioning and designing individual solutions and creating documentation and deliverables for specific products as needed What You’ll Bring10+ years of UX/UI design experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership roleProven track record of building UX functions, policies, and scalable design systemsExpertise in UX research, product design, and user testing methodologiesMastery of modern UX tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, etc.)Strong understanding of accessibility, usability heuristics, and WCAG standardsExperience in regulated industries (preferably HealthTech or MedTech)Experience in design products that are direct to consumerExperience in mobile application design across platforms An understanding of user research and testing techniques and an ability to drive change and design decisions based on those insightsExcellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional leadership skillsStartup or high-growth experience strongly preferred — you’re used to building fast, wearing multiple hats and rapid iterationOur Values First: we are PioneersTransforming healthcare requires divergent thinking, bias for action, disciplined experimentation, and consistent grit and determination to maintain momentum.
