Director - Privacy Assurance and Engineering
Description:
Oversee Privacy Engineering, Privacy Operations and Data Protection programs
Ensure compliance with global privacy laws and regulations
Safeguard sensitive data and protect privacy rights
Facilitate the creation of strong technical direction and strategy
Lead cross-functional alignment across stakeholders and partners
Represent Privacy & Data Protection at the Senior leadership level
Requirements:
Solid understanding of data privacy and security concepts
Applied experience leading privacy engineering projects
Deep technical expertise in either Privacy or Data Protection and their common engineering solutions
Strong understanding of global Privacy and Data Protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
Experience building and leading a build-centric privacy and software engineering team
Ability to develop balanced cross-functional partnerships
Experience building Privacy or Data Protection programs from the ground up
Pragmatic risk approach and understanding of risk tradeoffs with business goals
Strong hiring capabilities and building inclusive team environments
Creative and strategic approach to solving complex problems
