Director of User Research
Description:
As the Director of User Research, youll be passionate about creating a deep understanding and empathy for our users
Youll conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies to inform product development and design decisions
Drive prioritization of research efforts in support of broader organizational goals
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented user researchers
Be a highly respected senior partner and thought leader across departments
Champion and drive high-quality user experiences across Workivas ecosystem
Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years experience delivering high-quality research results
5+ years experience in building and coaching teams for high-impact results
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Portfolio/Strong case studies demonstrating measurable business impacts
Master's degree in a related degree field preferred
Demonstrated experience in scaling highly functioning user research teams
Experience in driving operational excellence for efficiency and effectiveness
Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
Proven experience in user research, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry
Ability to influence others, tying insights to business impact
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
Expert knowledge of user research best practices and methodologies
