The Opportunity: Director of Talent Data Analytics & Insights

In this pivotal role, you will be the catalyst for building an insights-driven talent organization. Your work will enable strategic workforce decisions that shape the future of our talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies. You'll be responsible for ensuring that the right information is available at the right time, empowering stakeholders across the organization to make data-enabled decisions with confidence.

This is a hybrid position based in Alaska, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site at our collaborative campus locations. We believe this hybrid approach enhances innovation, fosters meaningful connections, and provides the best of both worlds for our associates.

What You'll Do
As the Director of Talent Data Analytics & Insights, you will lead our Talent Data Operations & Insights team with a focus on strategic partnership and customer-driven outcomes. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing and executing a transport roadmap that supports the advancement of our overall talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Talent Data Operations & Insights crew, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
Develop comprehensive transport roadmaps that support the development, execution, and evolution of our talent strategy to meet dynamic business needs
Provide actionable insights to Talent Partners and Delivery leaders, proactively highlighting successes, opportunities, and risks with informed recommendations
Design and implement robust data models that are easily digestible and empower the team to make well-informed decisions quickly
Identify priorities and roadmap initiatives unique to the business, incorporating multiple internal and external data sources for comprehensive analysis
Enable the Talent team to become strategic advisors with the capability to directly influence business outcomes through data-driven insights
Deliver Consultancy, Analysis & Insights, along with self-serve tools that democratize data access across the organization
Influence leadership on leveraging available insights and drive governance efforts, including business process improvements and accountability management
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between talent strategy and overall business objectives
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in workforce analytics, bringing innovative ideas to the table


Who You Are
We're seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record in data analytics, talent strategy, and organizational insights. The ideal candidate will combine deep analytical expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills and a passion for driving measurable business outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field
Strong domain expertise in business areas with a comprehensive understanding of internal data ecosystems
Proven experience in developing and executing talent strategy, analysis, and insights plans
Demonstrated success in delivering complex analysis and insights supporting strategic initiatives
Ability to develop scalable and repeatable solutions that meet evolving business needs
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with business partners and stakeholders at all levels
Experience in governance efforts, including business process improvements and accountability management


Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in a related field
Experience in retail, consumer goods, or fast-paced corporate environments
Knowledge of HR information systems and talent management platforms
Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics in HR contexts
Experience presenting to executive-level leadership
Track record of building and leading high-performing analytics teams
