As a key leader within our PQS Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and marketing new solutions and products to payers, including plans and provider risk-bearing entities. Key Responsibilities
As a Director of Strategic Initiatives - Pharmacy, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our pharmacy solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing, developing, and marketing new solutions and products to payers, including plans and provider risk-bearing entities
Partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to define priorities, messaging, pitch decks, deal strategies, and outreach strategy for these markets
Driving high-priority sales conversations, building relationships with prospects, and positioning our solutions to address their needs
Formulating business strategies and partnering with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive high-priority sales conversions and faster deal closures
Reviewing performance information and data to create new sales and go-to-market playbooks showcasing our value delivered across our programs and services
Collaborating with the customer success team to structure and execute our expansion strategy at existing customers
Creating content for external use, such as presentation slides and customer pitches, to support sales team efforts
Responding to Requests for Information/Proposals (RFI/RFP) with new and existing customers
Designing operational structures and playbooks to enable rapid scale of the "Go To Market" organization
A Day in the Life
As a Director of Strategic Initiatives - Pharmacy, your day will be filled with a variety of activities and responsibilities. Here's an overview of what a typical day might look like:
Collaborating with sales and customer success teams on new and existing accounts to drive new deals and upsells
Engaging in consultative discovery and "art of the possible" discussions to understand prospect or customer needs and design an approach based on PQS solutions and services
Working collaboratively with product, sales, marketing, and external partners to design solutions
Conducting research on industry topics, developing pitch decks, business cases, and ROI models to support deal progression
Architecting and executing on overall growth strategy to drive growth for the market in collaboration with GMs and Product team
Being the face of Innovaccer to executives on our most critical deals
Bringing "the best of Innovaccer" to every prospect/customer discussion and RFP response
What You Need
To be successful as a Director of Strategic Initiatives - Pharmacy, you will need:
8+ years of experience in Healthcare Payer consulting with a top consulting firm and/or experience working with a large payer and/or Provider Led Health Plan
Deep payer market and payer technology ecosystem and architecture understanding, with knowledge or experience from the retail pharmacy marketplace a plus
Strong understanding of payer operations and organizational structures
Deep understanding of Risk Adjustment, Quality Management, Clinical Data requirements, and Value-Based Care Analytics from a Payer perspective
Self-starter with critical thinking skills and ability to apply them in fast-moving environments
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Adept at working cross-functionally to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining professionalism and poise
Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to write and speak with C-suite executives
MBA from a top B-School or equivalent qualifications from a top school
Willingness to travel to prospect/customer sites
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
