Job Title: Director of Sales
Location: Holiday Inn Corpus Christi Downtown Marina – Corpus Christi, Texas

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to join our leadership team and help us continue our tradition of excellent service and robust revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, goals, and initiatives that drive revenue and market share growth in alignment with IHG brand standards and property objectives.

Business Development & Relationship Management
Identify new business opportunities, forge strong client relationships, and maintain effective industry partnerships to expand the property’s client base and awareness.

Team Oversight & Collaboration
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing Sales team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize business performance.

Market Research & Analysis
Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and demand generators to proactively adjust strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Forecasting & Budgeting
Develop and manage annual sales budgets, sales forecasts, and performance reports, ensuring that targets are met and financial objectives are achieved.

Event & Group Sales Coordination
Oversee the coordination and execution of group sales, conventions, and special events, working with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Brand Representation
Uphold and represent the Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards in all sales-related initiatives, supporting the property’s reputation and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive sales leadership experience within the hospitality industry, preferably with an IHG or full-service hotel brand

Skills & Competencies
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel sales CRM systems
