In 2021, Zep became the official cleaning partner of Atlanta United FC.Job Description:The Zep Director of Sales, Emerging Channels and Walmart is an integral leader to drive profitable sales in one of the company’s fastest growing business units. This leader will develop and implement innovative retail strategies to win at targeted non-DIY retail channels. This leader will be a master communicator, influential, and authentic. This person possesses a deep understanding of multiple channels’ go to market strategies with a proven track record of success. He/She exhibits an entrepreneurial spirit, is a superior multi-tasker, embraces attention to detail and has experience managing brokers. The ideal candidate has experience at traditional and smaller fast-paced CPG companies.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic and routine account management to achieve sales revenue and profitability targets.Manage multiple broker groups.Prepare and present data-based selling stories to new and existing retail partners.Lead customer appointment preparation across a multi-functional team.Conceptualize and implement strategic plans for sales fundamentals.Manage a trade management budget across multiple customers and channels.Provide recommendations and collaborate with internal and external contact for digital and shopper marketing programs.Analyze historic shipment trends and future business plan to develop monthly production forecasts.Liaison with internal and external customer service.Analyze and leverage syndicated POS and retailer portal data.Internal selling to secure funding, resources, tools needed to drive the business.Desired Skill SetsConsultative Sales experience.Understanding of P&L management.High aptitude for data analysis to understand business trends and create data-based consumer centric selling stories.Proven experience utilizing data to effectively drive business decisions to improve results including financial performance, workforce forecast/planning, and scheduling.Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or with a team.Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.Collaboration across multiple functions within Zep.Experience and understanding of omni channel selling strategies and coordination.Ability to travel to customer appointments and internal sales meetings (approx. 20% - 25%)Education and Experience Required BA/BS in marketing, business or related field required.Minimum of 10 years experience in Consumer products goods sales organizations.Experience in grocery, mass and dollar channels preferred.Full time position.Experience managing direct reports is a plus.Our ValuesAt Zep, we have developed a set of values focused on bringing even greater cohesion to our workplace.
