They are responsible for supporting and developing ongoing processes at a regional level and will be the main driver of top line revenue growth and the lead for ongoing strategic planning and communication. The Director of Sales will own top-to-top communication with key leadership team members internally and externally.Location: Fully Remote but must be local to the West CoastSalary range $120,000 - $160,000 based on experience, qualifications and skillsTravel Requirements: Up to 25% - travel possibilities would include major industry shows, client meetings, team trainings, leadership trainings and travel to corporate offices; Min 1x/region/month; Top tier clients – quarterlyAt C.A. we’re not looking for perfection, just people that want to commit to us and grow their careers long-term. FortuneCross-functional, collaborative engagement with Leadership, Account Managers and Sales Support through the employee lifecycleFacilitate a transparent collaborative partnership with clients & internal cross-functional team membersResponsible for the implementation of CAF selling techniquesCoordinate with clients to develop and implement any applicable specific brand trainingParticipate in regular market interaction with team to understand the situation “on the ground” and provide active guidance and ongoing training, as necessaryEnsure team is trained on appropriate tools and technology, and that those tools and technology are being put to proper use.Utilize shared appointment calendarProvide Meeting Recaps – 24hr post meeting, next business dayRegular, consistent client communication to manage businessProactive communicationClose of business acknowledgement with client/buyer24-hour response towards resolutionPerform Monthly comps/clubs walks in assigned Costco regionsPurchase competitive samples/Recap to team as neededCommunicate with leadership on a regular basis to help problem solve and ensure best practices are being sharedProvide direction to clients on the best way to package information that allows for the CAF team to understand and leverage the proper resources to execute respective responsibilitiesAct as the conduit of communication for all significant information flow with supervisors and the client teams, including regular communication with the client Director or RetailWhat You Should Bring to the Table5+ years of experience in a sales function required; Experience in a sales leadership positionA demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and problem-solving with focus on meeting deadlinesStrong analytical and strategic thinker; can turn self-developed strategies/efficient processes into executionExtremely organized and detail-orientedDemonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience selling product direct to Costco and across multiple regions and categories throughout the clubExperience working with and selling to CostcoExperience building and managing Costco programsAdvanced communications skills, ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in a concise manner and establish rapport quicklyBachelor’s degree and other relevant certifications preferredYou Will Stand Out if You HaveExperience in a sales leadership positionExtensive Costco experience with natural food & beverage brandsCome As You AreC.A.
