Job Overview
As the Director of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product roadmap and driving the success of our client's HR Tech products. You will lead release planning, collaborate with Agile development teams, and establish operational processes for the Product Backlog. Your expertise will be crucial in defining EPICs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria, ensuring that development teams have a clear understanding of backlog items.

Key Responsibilities

Lead release planning and collaborate with Agile development and release management teams to define product release execution plans.
Establish and manage operational processes for the Product Backlog for assigned products.
Define EPICs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria while ensuring development teams have a clear understanding of backlog items.
Maintain transparency in the product backlog to showcase the Agile team's upcoming work.
Validate usability research findings, assess product value, UX design, and persona goals.
Support customer inquiries, conduct demonstrations, and manage on-site visits by allocating team resources.
Ensure process documents are comprehensive, up-to-date, well-communicated, and properly stored.
Take ownership of departmental operational management and collaborate with leadership to create operational plans alongside Technology leadership colleagues.


The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in product management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years of direct team management. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience is essential.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of product management experience, including at least 5 years of direct team management.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
Ability to lead across multiple teams and oversee projects beyond the department's scope.
Demonstrated ability to influence customer decisions in a consultative capacity.
Actively drive department-level improvements to enhance customer relations.


Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment undergoing significant growth.
