The Role:
The Director of Product Management will lead the product strategy and execution for our core offerings in the hospitality finance space. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep product management experience, particularly in SaaS and fintech, with a keen understanding of the hospitality industry. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving product vision, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring our product roadmap aligns with our business objectives and customer needs.
Essential Duties
Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that supports the overall company mission and business goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends in both hospitality and finance, identifying opportunities to innovate
Lead a team of product managers and collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of key product lines, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and iteration, with a strong focus on customer impact and business outcomes.
Oversee product development timelines, milestones, and KPIs to ensure alignment with product goals and timelines.
Engage directly with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gain deep insights into their needs, challenges, and opportunities within the hospitality finance landscape.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to continuously refine our positioning and value proposition.
Integrate feedback from customers, sales, and support teams into the product roadmap to ensure we are solving real problems for our users.
Mentor and develop a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Advocate for the product team across the organization, ensuring alignment and visibility for strategic initiatives.
Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and career development opportunities to drive team success.
Requirements
Essential Duties
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a product team.
Demonstrated success in developing and managing B2B SaaS products, ideally within the fintech or hospitality technology sectors.
Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, capable of guiding both the big picture and the details.
Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including key financial challenges and operational complexities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
