About the Role: Director of Pharmacy Strategy
We're seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy Strategy to lead strategic initiatives for CVS Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness. As a key member of our team, you'll develop long-term strategies, identify new opportunities for growth and profitability, and collaborate with various business units to drive success. Key Responsibilities
Manage cross-functional efforts to identify new white-space opportunities for further corporate investment, driving growth and innovation.
Lead strategy development with leadership teams to identify new business opportunities and enhance the profitability of existing ventures.
Support the stand-up of new entities and business units in pursuit of internal optimization goals, ensuring seamless execution.
Communicate strategies and opportunities to C-suite audiences, presenting complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
Support the evaluation of equity investments in third parties, working closely with the CVS Ventures team and investment banking partners.
Drive internal optimization efforts within the Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness Portfolio of companies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Lead ad-hoc high-priority strategic efforts for the C-suite team, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal senior leadership teams, fostering collaboration and driving results.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
4+ years of strategy consulting experience from a top-tier firm, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies.
8-12 years of total experience, with a strong background in healthcare or a related industry.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with an MBA preferred but not required.
