Director of National Service
Nations Roof, one of the largest and prominent leaders in the commercial roofing industry, ranked in the Top 5 Roofing Contractors in the US. Our projects range in scope from large-scale new construction to complete tear-offs, re-roofing and renovations of existing building exteriors, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major commercial roof systems.
Job Summary: The... Director of National Service will play a fundamental and strategic role in driving revenue growth and market expansion at the local branch level. As the Director, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and execute management and revenue strategies, empower local manager teams, and impact our company's bottom line.
Responsibilities and Functions:
Developing a comprehensive development strategy that aligns national and local construction and operational efforts to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Collaborating closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Operations team to understand their objectives, project requirement, client needs, and goals, and translate these into actionable strategies for local branch offices.
Partnering with regional operations team and branch/general managers teams to implement and execute initiatives that align with corporate goals and local market provisions.
Identifying strategic expansion opportunities within national and local markets, leveraging market trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
Developing and oversee the creation and/or revision of training programs that support both national and local operational efforts.
Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to local service managers and their teams to optimize their processes and achieve revenue targets.
Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance operational strategies and approaches.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Proven experience in a leadership role within revenue and profitability development, preferably with a focus on national and local strategies.
10 yrs experience in commercial construction operations.
Experience in commercial roof system designs, including MoD Bit, BUR, TPO, PVC, EPDM, Metal, and coatings.
Experience supervising, training, and guiding a team of production crews or service technicians.
Read and understand blueprints and specifications
Project Management of both commercial roof replacement and service projects
Understand commercial/industrial roofing system design installation code compliance
Ability to identify correct and report unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards
Understand implications of lost production on job budgets
Leadership and management skills
In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel Word and Outlook)
Outstanding communication and time management abilities
Ability to receive instructions and clearly explain problems or situations
Prioritize and plan work activities
Must be able to work well with others and within a company system
