The Role: Director of Grants for Social Justice

As Director of Grants for Social Justice, you'll work alongside the Director of Grants for Economic Justice to deliver our bold 2030 strategy. Your focus will be on critical issues like migration, racial justice, and disability justice, and you'll lead our learning strategy across all areas of our work. You'll have the opportunity to shape the city's future by making a real impact on the lives of low-income Londoners.

Key Responsibilities:


Develop and implement our grants strategy for social justice, focusing on key issues like migration, racial justice, and disability justice
Lead our learning strategy across all areas of our work, driving meaningful change and improving the lives of low-income Londoners
Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including community organizations, policymakers, and other funders
Collaborate with the Director of Grants for Economic Justice to deliver our 2030 strategy
Inspire and support a talented, experienced team, fostering a collaborative and empathetic work environment
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
Represent Trust for London externally, building our reputation as a leading funder in the city


Essential Qualifications:

We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of civil society and a proven commitment to empowering those with lived experiences of poverty. You should have:


A strong track record of leadership in a similar field, with experience of managing teams and developing strategies
A deep understanding of the issues we're tackling, including migration, racial justice, and disability justice
