As a pioneering ed-tech company founded by Sara Rich, a seasoned principal with over two decades of experience, we're committed to making a lasting impact in the education sector. We're now seeking a highly skilled and passionate Director of Education Partnerships to join our team on a remote basis, working from the comfort of your own home.

About the Role
As our ideal candidate, you'll be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in the education sector, a deep understanding of the challenges faced by educators, and a genuine passion for improving literacy outcomes. As Director of Education Partnerships, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward by cultivating strong relationships with school districts, expanding our customer base, and promoting the benefits of our innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Cultivate Trust and Rapport: Develop a comprehensive understanding of district leaders' early literacy needs and employ a consultative sales approach to build trust and drive partnerships.
Territory Expansion: Foster relationships with regional organizations, engage key decision-makers, participate in local conferences, and stay up-to-date on regional initiatives, funding sources, and legislation to maintain a robust pipeline.
Sales Objectives: Achieve or surpass sales targets for Classroom Libraries and Take-Home Decodable Packs, leveraging sales tools like Hubspot to optimize outreach and customer engagement.
Strategic Engagement: Occasional travel for conferences and district meetings may be required to further our mission and build lasting relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:

Education Background: A background as a former teacher, principal, or district leader, providing valuable insight into educational institutions and district operations.
Sales Experience: Prior experience in outside sales, particularly within the education sector, is highly desirable.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ownership mentality with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Communication Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively engage with district leaders and stakeholders.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
Collaboration: Willingness to collaborate and share insights to enhance team effectiveness.
Passion for Literacy: Genuine empathy for educators and a deep-seated passion for early literacy; previous teaching or district leadership experience is strongly preferred.

What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:

Base Salary: Approximately $70,000 - $150,000
Commission: Additional $70,000 - $150,000 based on experience

We're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows you to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact in the education sector.
