Director of Billing & Collections- Remote
Our client is a leading healthcare provider and they wish to hire a Director of Billing & Collections to lead a team of professionals driving the billing and collection agendas and work hand-in-hand with the VP.
Essential duties will include-
ā¢ Drive the formulation, development, and implementation of billing and collection policies and practices; work with all concerned parties to enforce and assure compliance with established firm guidelines and procedures.
ā¢ Develop and implement standardized and efficient business processes that allow billing and collection functions to appropriately scale with firm growth.
ā¢ Direct the evaluation of client receivable balances, assessing risk to the company and developing strategies around enhancing collections.
ā¢ Lead the delivery of exceptional client service.
ā¢ Advance the utilization of technology and related tools to more effectively execute key functions, including successful implementation of the firm's practice management platform.
ā¢ Collaborate with the Senior Director of Finance, Chief Financial Officer and the Operations Committee to ensure timely and relevant financial and operational information is provided to firm leadership enabling informed decision making.
ā¢ Maintain direct responsibility for the efficient and effective operation for each of the respective teams (Billing and Collections), including the planning and directing of assignments, identification, and training on specific job responsibilities and completion of periodic performance reviews.
ā¢ Establish a culture that ensures staff communicates properly and promptly with firm personnel and external stakeholders at all times and that they exhibit a high level of customer service at all times.
Job requirements-
ā¢ Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline
ā¢ 10+years of relevant professional experience
ā¢ 5+ years in a leadership role
ā¢ Multi-Site experience
ā¢ Healthcare industry experience is a plus
ā¢ PE experience is a plus
ā¢ Proven experience automating systems and process improvement expertise
