Key Responsibilities
Lead the AI leadership team in building and executing our platform-wide AI strategy, focusing on delivering quality results and driving the architecture, design, and roadmap of AI/ML products.
Steer the engineering team responsible for foundational AI/ML products used across our entire product suite and customer base, ensuring scalability, reliability, and distributed AI product development.
Partner with the VP, Engineering, and other leaders to chart the strategic growth of the AI team, defining new teams, and steering architecture and product direction.
Guide the team through complex product and technical roadmaps, aligning with product management and design to support strategy execution.
Foster a culture of growth and development within the team through effective feedback, coaching, and career development.
Essential Qualifications
7+ years of experience in developing and supporting AI products in a production environment.
5+ years of experience managing and leading data science teams.
Technical expertise in modern AI technologies, designing, implementing, and maintaining AI models and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in developing and scaling high-performance teams through hiring and coaching engineering leaders, data scientists, and ML engineers.
Experience aligning a team's focus and vision towards impactful work across a complex product suite for a diverse, global customer base.
Track record of influencing and aligning stakeholders across different functions to drive successful outcomes.
Experience with enterprise-level distributed applications using Python, Java, distributed queuing systems, etc.
Experience developing systems to deploy, manage, and serve machine learning models at scale.
Familiarity with generative AI, including open-source and third-party solutions like OpenAI.

Compensation and Benefits
Our compensation package is designed to attract and retain top talent. For this role, the base pay ranges are:
Zone 1: $280,000 to $300,000 USD annually.
Zone 2: $260,000 to $285,000 USD annually.
