Job Title: Director, Non-Commercial Sales (Hospitality & Lodging)

Location: Open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S, with preference given to candidates that reside near a major airport for frequent travel.

SUMMARY:

The Director, Non-Commercial Sales – Hospitality/Lodging reports to the VP of Non-Commercial Sales and provides overall direction and leadership to the National Account Managers regarding new business and account management for the hospitality and lodging segments within the foodservice sales and marketing division of Royal Cup.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff within assigned function.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles coaching, discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Collaborate with other functions and team leadership to ensure cohesive team approach for execution and performance improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide sales leadership to the sales team by effectively communicating company goals, initiatives, and strategy.
• Develop and execute a hospitality and lodging sales strategy for the national account sales team to achieve the company's overall plan.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key national account customers.
• Manage and negotiate components of national account customer agreements.
• Monitor individual sales team attack plans and check progress regularly.
• Adhere to a regular meeting cadence to create accountability within the team with one-on-one meetings and quarterly (at a minimum) work withs.
• Contribute to the selling process for the highest priority national account targets as needed.
• Drive performance by holding individual NAM’s (National Account Manager) accountable for meeting both their defined KPI activities (leading indicators) as well as Objective results (Lagging indicators).
• Oversee CRM sales tool, C4C to funnel activities and metrics.
• Maintain a pipeline of national account active targets.
• All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or another related field or combined education & equivalent sales experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in outside Foodservice sales, National Account sales management or similar.
• Proven ability to implement process improvements.
• Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills.
• Proven strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong written & verbal communication Skills, and organizational Skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under strict time constraints.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite and systems.
• Ability to travel, as required and regularly requiring overnight stays to travel to customer locations, attend meetings, training and other work-related events as scheduled.
• Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Sales team leadership experience.
• Robust hospitality and lodging industry established relationships
• Prior experience with C4C or other relevant CRM platforms.
• Foodservice National Account experience.
• Coffee or other beverage related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, typing, reading, talking, and hearing.
• the ability to lift up to 15 pounds with or without assistance.
