POSITION SUMMARY The Director Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineering supports the VP Identity & Access Management in leading the engineering and automation efforts across the enterprise IAM program. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity solutions including SailPoint, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Active Directory (AD). The Director will lead a team of engineers focused on secure identity lifecycle management, automation, and integration of IAM technologies to ensure scalable and compliant access solutions. DESCRIPTION Duties and Responsibilities Lead engineering efforts for enterprise IAM technologies including SailPoint, PAM, MFA, SSO, and AD. Design and implement scalable identity lifecycle management solutions. Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline IAM operations and provisioning processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with business applications and cloud platforms. Ensure IAM systems are audit-ready and compliant with regulatory requirements (SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, NYDFS). Support the VP of IAM in strategic planning and execution of identity modernization initiatives. Manage engineering team performance, development, and delivery of IAM solutions. Maintain documentation for IAM architecture, tools, and processes. Perform related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred 9+ years of experience in Identity and Access management or related IT security roles. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ and other IGA platforms. Experience with PAM solutions, MFA, SSO, and Active Directory. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM certifications) are a plus. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization. Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong project management capability. Self-directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty. Strong Microsoft Office skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities A good faith estimate of the compensation is: 119,600.00 - 219,120.00 Compensation for this position may also include other elements, including medical, financial, various paid time off benefits, and a bonus based on individual and company performance, variable or annual.
