Director, Growth Partnerships

THE ROLE: As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new clients for DEPT®, with a focus on selling branding & experience design, campaign strategy and execution, media management, data solutions, ecommerce, ai transformation, product innovation & development, systems integration and much more. Success in this role requires a commercially driven mindset, the ability to quickly build trust with senior executives, and a strategic approach to navigating partner ecosystems to create and accelerate the pipeline. You must have a broad understanding of a range of industry verticals, enterprise platforms like Adobe, Salesforce, Shopify, Optimizely, etc., and the ability to develop go-to-market strategies demonstrating DEPT®'s capabilities. A broad understanding of the entire agency sales funnel- from brand building, to performance tactics, to business development to sales- is important in this role, though primarily the role will be judged on bottom funnel performance, that is to say close rates and sales revenue generation. You must be able to quickly build trust and rapport, ask the right questions, and bring a strategic approach to selling agency solutions. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Lead net-new pitch process including building pitch timelines, writing pitch briefings, setting pitch win strategies, contributing content for new client proposals and tender documents. • Craft and own detailed responses for net-new pitches, including RFIs, procurement processes, and collaborating with legal and finance teams in accordance with the pitch process • Contribute to the ongoing business development activities including networking with top executives within partner organizations, account mapping and go-to-market execution, attending conferences and supporting the business development team in outreach to existing or potential clients. • Support the sales process, including qualification strategy, win strategy, pitch casting, usability and best practices in order to better win and deliver for clients, and enhance the DEPT® customer experience. • Develop executive level relationships with partners and clients that position DEPT® as a strategic partner for current and future project / account work. • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that DEPT®'s differentiated positioning comes to life through case studies, PR, thought leadership content and other marketing material. • Travel and attend relevant events to build relationships and generate pipeline with key partners. • Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Essential: • 10+ years of agency sales, growth, or client services experience (or equivalent) • Demonstrated success working within or alongside major partner ecosystems, preferably Adobe, with familiarity in co-selling and partner-led opportunity creation. • Experience selling agency services across a range of industries and verticals • Understanding of branding, creative, media, ecommerce, & engineering • Ability to execute go-to- market initiatives and business development in partner events, roundtables, and field activities to build relationships, increase visibility, and surface new opportunities. • Able to partner with clients to understand their growth needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business • Experienced in building relationships with C-suite executives (CTOs, CMOs, and CIOs) and business decision-makers • A self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment. • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions WHAT DO WE OFFER? Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible. US Remote Range $130,000-$210,000 USD
