Job Summary
The Director, Data Analytics will be responsible for leading the development of a set of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. This includes defining metrics, leading the development of the data pipeline and dashboards, and reporting progress towards our goals to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a set of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives
Define metrics and lead the development of the data pipeline and dashboards
Report progress towards our goals to senior leadership
Identify and recommend approaches to solving business problems
Assess proposed business cases for projects and initiatives
Translate business requirements into strategies and align the team to the business strategy
Develop and use internal and external networks and partnerships
Lead strategic community engagement and inclusion initiatives
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics)
Capability in SQL, Python, and large data tools (e.g., Hive)
Capability with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and scheduling/workflow tools (e.g., Wind current)
Ability to communicate details of a metric to senior leaders clearly
Ability to connect details of data and their impact on the business
Experience growing new metrics to track business impact
Experience leading a team of analysts
Preferred Qualifications
Background or education in statistics
Experience with AI and data science techniques
