About the Role The Director, Customer Marketing, will play a pivotal role in leading our customer advocacy efforts, building on our existing successes, and driving innovation in customer engagement. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about working with customers, driven by results, and excels at developing strategic programs that align with business priorities. Reporting to the Sr. Dir of Solutions & Customer Marketing, the candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize employee development, all while maintaining a sense of fun and camaraderie. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute an enterprise-class customer marketing program that aligns with blithequark's overall strategy, focusing on fostering brand awareness, increasing sales through customer advocacy, and creating an integrated strategy for customer engagement and advocacy. Activate blithequark advocates through a mix of digital and in-person events, driving process maturity to enhance team efficiency and customer experience. Uncover and amplify customer success stories, managing advocate acquisition, development, and promotion to support the sales cycle and deal closure. Lead and develop a high-performing team, establishing key performance indicators for content and program evaluation and driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of customer marketing initiatives. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Proven track record in launching and driving cross-functional customer engagement programs, with a focus on customer advisory boards, summits, and conference speaking engagements. Proficiency in creating Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) and designing engaging experiences that showcase blithequark's value proposition. Expertise in customer storytelling and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and executive teams. Outstanding project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of representing blithequark at external events and meetings. Leadership skills with a focus on team development, mentoring, and coaching to ensure the growth and success of team members. Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making, able to measure the effectiveness of customer marketing programs and make strategic adjustments. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for customer meetings, events, and team gatherings. Preferred Qualifications 10-15+ years of customer marketing experience, with a proven ability to create strategic plans aligned with business priorities. Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for various mediums and audiences. Problem-solving, analytical, and budget management skills, with experience in managing budgets and resources to achieve program goals. Experience in team building and mentoring, with a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Adaptability to fast-paced environments, with the ability to pivot when necessary and lead teams through periods of change and growth.
