Job Description
We’re seeking an Americas Sales Director to own revenue and P&L for our branded gift card products across physical and digital retail. You’ll lead sell-in and sell-through with major retailers and marketplaces, manage distributor/processor relationships (e.g., BHN/Blackhawk, InComm), and orchestrate promotions, merchandising, and category growth. You’ll partner with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to scale a successful, profitable gift card business across the U.S., Canada and LATAM.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
• Own Americas revenue, margin, and forecast for gift card SKUs; deliver plan, manage pipeline, and optimize channel mix (mass, specialty, grocery, digital, B2B).
• Build and deepen executive relationships with top retailers and distributors; negotiate annual JBP, terms, MDF/co-op, promos, and category resets.
• Lead third-party gift card processor/distributor partnerships (e.g., BHN/Blackhawk, InComm): business reviews, merchandising programs, POS placement, and service levels.
• Drive retail execution: sell-in assortments, set promos, seasonal programs, and end-cap/wallet share; monitor sell-through, inventory, OOS, and deductions.
• Orchestrate integrated marketing to acquire new buyers and increase activation/redemption; brief campaigns across in-store, digital, and B2B channels.
• Ensure operational hygiene in forecasting, settlement, and reporting; maintain awareness of compliance requirements for consumer protection and unclaimed property.
• Lead quarterly business reviews; synthesize retail/partner insights, promo ROI, attach/activation/redemption health, and next-quarter bets.
• Expand the business across the region
This role will require 25-30% travel mainly domestically within the US, with 1-2 trips a year to Canada and LATAM.

Skills And Requirements
• 10+ years in B2C/B2B2C sales or channel leadership; 5+ years owning retail or partnerships for stored-value, payments, or consumer software/content.
• Deep familiarity with NA big-box, grocery, specialty, convenience, and digital channels; proven success negotiating JBPs and complex commercial terms.
• Hands-on with gift card economics and mechanics (sell-in vs. sell-through, activation/redemption, breakage, settlement).
• Experience managing Blackhawk/InComm (or similar) relationships and retail execution at scale.
• Data-driven operator comfortable with POS/sell-through dashboards, promo ROI, and forecast hygiene
• Software, gaming, entertainment, or payments background (e.g., wallet, marketplace, subscription, or DLC).
• Category management experience with retailer portals, planograms, and resets; familiarity with syndicated
retail data.
• MBA or equivalent commercial training.
