Job Title: Sr. Java Developer with Python, Pega

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

JOB SUMMARY:

Sr. JAVA Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. Senior IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.

Job Description:

• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages, with experience in Java application development

• Experience with Web and API Automation Tools/Frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Bruno, Postman)

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, JUnit, TestNG for Java)

• Strong understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Prompt Engineering (e.g., designing effective prompts for Gen AI tools)

• Experience using Gen AI tools for day-to-day automation work (e.g., debugging, testing)

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)

• Leadership skills: Experience leading a team of automation developers, or mentoring junior team members

• Architecture skills: Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks

• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc.

•Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology

•Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary

•Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, VS Code)

•Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS)

•Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)

•Familiarity with Pega Platform

•Knowledge of DevOps practices (e.g., continuous integration, continuous testing)

Required Work Experience:

•5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry

•Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages, with experience in Java application development

•Experience with Web and API Automation Tools/Frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Bruno, Postman)

•Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, JUnit, TestNG for Java) proficiency in Python and Java programming languages, with experience in Java application development

Required Education:

•Related Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
