Viamericas, a leading global financial services company, is rapidly expanding their digital payments footprint and seeking a Digital Payments Risk Leader.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks associated with digital payment transactions, including fraud, chargebacks, data breaches, and regulatory noncompliance.
This will involve developing and implementing robust risk management strategies across a company's digital payment platforms.
The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams like product, information technology, information security, legal, and compliance to ensure secure and compliant payment processing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in credit risk, payment products, strategy or process transformation within financial services.
Strong understanding of digital payment systems and technologies.
Expertise in fraud detection methods and risk mitigation strategies.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Data analysis skills to interpret transaction data and identify trends.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership skills, capable of using data and critical thinking to make real-time decisions.
Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
High degree of initiative, self-direction and ability to work well under pressure.
Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
