Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO + Video Editing + WordPress)

The Local Ledger is a lifestyle and finance platform focused on real estate, mortgage lending, and community insights in the Southeast (SC, NC, FL). We’re expanding aggressively and need a Digital Marketing Specialist to execute our SEO and content roadmap, manage optimization, and repurpose content into short-form video.

Your Role
We already have a detailed 12-week SEO + content plan — your job is to execute it with precision, provide insights, and help us scale.
Primary Responsibilities
• Implement SEO strategy: optimize blogs, landing pages, and local authority pages for hyper-local rankings.
• Manage technical SEO: site speed, internal linking, schema, Yoast optimization.
• Repurpose blogs into short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) with captions and branding.
• Track results using GA4 + Search Console, provide weekly reports, and recommend improvements.
• Communicate what content or media assets are needed so we can provide them.
Secondary Responsibilities (Light Social Media Support)
• Repurpose existing content into social posts (graphics + short captions).
• Schedule posts across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Ensure brand consistency across platforms.
(Inbox management, DMs, and comment replies will be handled in-house.)

• Proven experience with SEO and WordPress optimization.
• Ability to edit and format blogs in WordPress + WPBakery.
• Video editing skills (short-form content for social).
• Strong communication and reporting skills — able to tell us what’s working and what’s not.
• Organized, proactive, and able to follow a structured playbook while offering fresh ideas.
