About the Role We are looking for a talented Digital Content Creator Librarian to develop, create, and implement engaging online tutorials, guides, and digital learning objects related to library instruction, information, and services. As a key member of our library team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience of our students and supporting the academic success of our community. Key Responsibilities • Develop, create, and implement high-quality online tutorials, research guides, and digital learning objects related to library instructional, information, and services. • Assist with various projects, including other projects as assigned by the Library Dean and Head of Instruction and Information Literacy Librarian. • Collaborate with the library team to design and implement innovative online learning solutions that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. • Utilize screen recorder and video creation tools, such as Screenpal, Camtasia, and others, to create engaging and interactive content. • Work effectively with Springshare's LibGuides content management system to manage and maintain online library resources. • Provide excellent customer service and support to students, faculty, and staff through various channels, including online platforms and in-person interactions. Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • Master of Library Science (MLS) or Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from an ALA-accredited program. • Proven experience developing and creating online tutorials, guides, and digital learning objects related to library instruction, information, and services. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Requirements: • Demonstrated experience creating videos with Screenpal, Camtasia, and/or other screen recorder and video creation tools. • Experience working with Springshare's LibGuides content management system. • Familiarity with learning management systems and online pedagogy. • Experience with graphic design and multimedia production.
