Digital Asset Coordinator

BRMi is seeking a Digital Asset Coordinator to manage and evolve the digital asset management system for their Marketing Creative Services team. The role involves overseeing the lifecycle of digital assets, ensuring proper governance, and supporting DAM migration initiatives.ResponsibilitiesConduct the daily management of the Digital Asset Management System (DAMs), including AEM and related asset platformsMaximize discovery of digital assets by enhancing product and lifestyle images with metadata that follows established guidelines and aligns with business objectivesManage the lifecycle of image assets after creation, including selection, ingestion, governance, and ongoing maintenance within the AEM digital asset management system (DAM)Support DAM evolution and migration initiatives (e.g., DAM to EDAM) by assisting with asset preparation, metadata alignment, ingestion standards, validation of migrated assets, and workflow readinessServe as subject matter expert for the digital asset management system (DAMs); maintain accurate system procedures and policies; contribute to process improvements, testing, documentation, training, and user supportIdentify and communicate opportunities for improvement to aid in the overall enrichment and consistency of the metadata lifecycleCoordinate and maintain organization of all assets and files for the Marketing Creative Services team, including Internally Generated Photography and Video, Campaign Photography, Stock Photography, Logos, Design Assets, Video B-roll, and other Special ProjectsAct as point of contact for asset requests and handoff from internal team members in marketing, content strategists, and back-end developers, as well as outside vendors and partnersPartner with cross-functional teams to support DAM-related initiatives, including platform updates, workflow refinements, and migration readiness activitiesResearch streamlining opportunities to improve search and discovery within DAM platformsCreate, develop, grow, and maintain a naming convention framework that allows files to be located quickly and consistentlyEnsure and manage the workflow of proper naming, labeling, organizing, and governance of content across all channelsResponsible for researching and helping implement new technologies, tools, or enhancements that streamline asset platforms, DAM processes, and migration-related workflowsPerform other duties as assignedSkillsWorking knowledge of creative file formats and file size optimization (JPG, GIF, PNG, SVG, EPS, vector, and flattened images)Experience overseeing digital catalogs or asset libraries (DAMs), including asset lifecycle management and metadata governanceExperience using online content management systems, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)Experience supporting or participating in DAM migration efforts (e.g., DAM to EDAM), including asset preparation, metadata alignment, ingestion validation, or system transition support (plus)Experience working and communicating with all levels of employees, management, stakeholders, and vendors; ability to build relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tactDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyWorking knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, philosophy, operations, systems, and organizational objectivesEffective skill in image editing software and techniques, including color correction, photo retouching, and Adobe Creative Cloud solutionsAdvanced organizational, research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsEffective word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Information or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experienceBenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceEmployer-Paid Life InsuranceEmployer-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO) that includes Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, and 11 Paid HolidaysEducational AssistanceCompany OverviewBattle Resource Management, Inc. is a professional services, technology and change management consulting firm.
