The New York-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns is a leader in providing outstanding, compassionate, personalized care to pregnant women, newborn babies and their families. The Cohen Hospital is an 222,000 square foot facility that occupies the top five-and-a-half floors of the New York-Presbyterian David H. Koch Center and features: 75 private rooms and well-baby bassinets, 60 private neonatal intensive care isolettes, 16 labor and delivery rooms, 5 operating rooms, 20 maternal critical assessment and treatment rooms, and 15 ultrasound rooms, which offers state-of-the-art visualization.

It is the first facility in New York City to have MRI capabilities and an operating room in its neonatal intensive care unit.

Dietetic Technician - Clinical Nutrition - Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women, and Newborns - Part Time

The Department of Clinical Nutrition is seeking Dietetic Technician candidates to work in our Infant Feeding Preparation Area. Dietetic Technicians will be responsible for preparing and dispensing infant feedings, interacting with the interdisciplinary team, and providing assistance to Registered Dietitians to ensure the effective nutritional care of patients. Come work with our team in the growth and development of our neonatal and obstetrics services!

This is a part time position, requiring rotating shifts between the hours of 6:30am-7:00pm.

Preferred Criteria
• Minimum 1 year of work related-experience
Required Criteria
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates degree in nutrition, or a related food service field or equivalent, related work experience
• Food Safety Certification, within 6 months of hire
• Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of computers
• Good mathematical skills

$32.15-$40.55/Hourly
