HCL Cloud Services team is looking for an experienced Azure Engineers with expertise in Azure IaaS implementation and migration executions. In this role, you ll work closely with architecture and operations team on some of HCL's largest and most strategic customer engagements to build new Azure landing zone(s), perform migrations, implement POC solutions.Position Cloud IaaS EngineerDesignation Technical Specialist/Associate ConsultantExperience - A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an engineering/operations role with a software and/or services company.Roles & Responsibilities:Resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x7x365 global support delivery team. Combine technical expertise and customer requirements to solve complex business challenges.Ability to quickly identify customer issues to specific Azure Services or Azure Platform; and being able to conduct in-depth diagnostics on Azure platform and services.Work with Architects to deliver solutions and deploy new capabilities in customer environment.Analyse and eliminate top issues impacting customer experience.Build automation to solve customer problems and develop scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities.Create documentation (SOP's & TSG's) to help L1/L2 teams to support operations.Work on critical, highly complex customer scenarios that span across multiple Azure servicesAct as a technical escalation point within the teamWork with architecture team on process improvement and strategic initiativesRequirements: 5 years of experience in a technical position and a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Azure Cloud EngineerExtensive hands-on experience on Azure Governance & Cost Management, Azure Network & Security, Azure Active Directory, Compute & Storage, Backup & DR, MonitoringStrong hands-on experience on Transformation (Migration) life-cycle and expertise on Azure Migrate & ASR (DRaaS).Expertise in OS (Windows and/or Linux Administration), Virtualization is an added advantage.Experience in ARM templates & PowerShell scripting preferredAbility to learn new technology in a fast-paced environmentPassion for customers and focus on delivering the right customer experience.HCL is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
