The Role:
The DevOps Engineer will be pivotal in automating and enhancing our software development processes. This role involves ensuring system reliability, streamlining deployment of new features, and collaborating with our global team to drive innovation and efficiency.
The Location:
This is a Remote Role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Automate and improve development and release processes.
• Monitor and maintain system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with global teams, including developers, QA, and IT operations.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Analyze technology use and develop processes for improvement.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
• Familiar with cloud services (DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Good knowledge of Linux OS
• Proficiency in scripting languages (bash/shell, Python, Perl, Ruby ...).
• Deep experience with CD/CI and automation tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security practices.
• Familiarity of monitoring tools, such as Grafana
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, global team.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development in DevOps.
Conditions:
• Role Type: Digital Nomad, Fully Remote.
• Contract Type: Contractor / Freelancer
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm London time
• Wellbeing Allowance: Yes.
