Are you a developer who loves crafting exceptional tools and experiences for other developers? Unlayer, a leading SaaS company revolutionizing email, landing page, and document design, is seeking a passionate Developer Advocate

If you have 3+ years of experience in web development, excel at translating complex technical concepts, and thrive on building relationships, this is your chance to join a mission-driven team empowering businesses worldwide to create stunning, responsive emails without coding.
About Unlayer:

We provide powerful design tools and embedded solutions that empower businesses and individuals to create professional emails, landing pages, and documents effortlessly. Our mission is to democratize beautiful design through intuitive technology.
Your Mission:

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain top-tier technical documentation, tutorials, sample projects, and code examples for Unlayer’s APIs and SDKs.
• Actively engage with developers across forums, social media, and events (virtual and in-person) to promote Unlayer, gather critical feedback, and provide support.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, workshops, and webinars to both internal teams and external developers on Unlayer’s capabilities and best practices.
• Collaborate directly with the product and engineering teams to translate developer feedback into actionable insights for the product roadmap.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by developers, providing clear guidance and escalating when necessary. Develop knowledge base articles to empower the community.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications):
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in web technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of SDK integration.
• Exceptional communication skills – you can explain intricate technical details to both developers and non-technical audiences with clarity and enthusiasm.
• Proven experience in public speaking, presenting, or creating technical content.
• A genuine passion for developer tools, APIs, and the email marketing/design technology space.
• Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to stay professional under pressure.
• Must be available to work core Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST) business hours.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Direct experience with email design, development, and rendering complexities.
• Knowledge of modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Prior experience in a Developer Relations, Advocacy, or Technical Evangelist role.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Familiarity with customer support platforms like Intercom.
