Desk adjuster (Remote, 1099)

We’re seeking a highly experienced Desk Public Adjuster who can expertly review policy coverage, evaluate damage, and advocate for full and fair claim settlements on behalf of our clients. If you understand restoration, mitigation, personal property, and ALE, you may be the ideal candidate. This position starts part-time with the opportunity to transition to full-time. In addition to hourly pay, bonus compensation may be available. This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor role. What You’ll Be Doing: • Review claims documentation and policy information to determine what is needed to resolve claim coverage disputes. • Create strong supplement packages and negotiate for full and fair payment. • Determine needed full scope of work needed for a claim based on coverage and generate estimates to be provided for billing. • Communicate directly with carrier adjusters, homeowners, and contractors. • Manage claim documentation and strategy to get full approvals. • Track your progress and stay organized while working independently. Requirements: • Minimum 4 years of adjusting experience claims. • Strong background in restoration and fire/water damage claims is highly preferred. • Personal property/content experience is helpful but not required. • Must know how to read and write Xactimate estimates. • Experience with mitigation invoices, dry-out documentation, and restoration scopes. • You must be ready to show examples of past water claims you’ve worked on if requested (before/after approval amounts or scope differences) . • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Must be self-driven and able to manage a workload independently. • Must have stable internet connection and desktop/laptop.
