Designer, Hydraulics

Gannett Fleming is seeking a Designer to join their Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Team in Houston or Fort Worth, TX. This role involves assisting in the planning, design, and production of hydrology and hydraulics projects under the supervision of a PE, contributing to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesAssisting in the development of drainage impact studiesHelping to prepare drainage construction plans and specificationsCompiling watershed drainage studies, master plans and engineering reportsAssist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documentsCoordinate with other team members and consultantsAttend meetings with clients and regulatory agenciesSkillsB.S. in Civil EngineeringEIT license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain in 6 months0-3 years of experience in H & HExpertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Self-motivated and collaborate well with othersGood oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of H&H software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM and ArcGIS.
