They are seeking a Designer in Architecture to support project teams in creating visually appealing and functional designs, contributing to various stages of the design process under the guidance of experienced professionals.ResponsibilitiesCreate and refine design concepts and/or development of detailed plans and construction documents leveraging BIM (Building Information Modeling) ensuring adherence to project requirements and design intentPrepare and/or coordinate drawings/documents primarily utilizing Revit in accordance with client specifications, budget, applicable building codes, and project timelines with the support and guidance of our teamMaintain a good working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-lawsAttend site visits, meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipalitiesSkillsDiploma in Architectural Technology or equivalentRecent graduate or around 1 year of experiences within an Architecture firmProficient experience in Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative SuiteWorking knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws with experience in the municipal approval processStrong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skillsWillingness to work in a hybrid role, with 2 days in the StudioBenefitsMinimum 3 Weeks Vacation Paid.10 Personal Days Paid.RRSP Matching.8 Weeks Work From Abroad Per Year.100% Benefit Premiums Paid.Employee Assistance Program.Professional Association Dues Paid.Hybrid Work.Annual Home Office Allowance.Transparent Salary Bands.Company OverviewTurner Fleischer is an agile studio of 250+ committed and creative professionals, driven by the unwavering passion for excellence of nine Principals who are deeply connected to our workflows and project strategies.
