We’re looking for a Design Studio Manager based in Indonesia to help lead and grow our regional design team, working closely with our HQ team in Malaysia.This is a remote role based in Indonesia, with close collaboration with our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams in Malaysia HQ. You’ll report to the Head of Product and play a key role in scaling our design practice across Southeast Asia.Why This Role MattersYou’ll lead and scale a high-performing design team across multiple disciplines (UX, UI, product design, visual).You’ll ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in design output across product lines and markets.You’ll shape the design roadmap and elevate our product experiences through strong creative leadership.You’ll build systems, rituals, and standards that enable designers across regions to do their best work.What You’ll DoManage and mentor a growing team of designers across disciplines and seniority levels.Oversee the end-to-end design process: from research and ideation to delivery and handoff.Develop and maintain our design system, toolkits, and brand-aligned UI/UX standards.Partner with Product, Tech, and Marketing to ensure a cohesive, user-centered experience across all touchpoints.Set design KPIs and regularly review design quality, efficiency, and impact.Build hiring processes and participate in talent evaluation for design roles across the region.Foster a strong design culture of critique, collaboration, and experimentation.You’ll Thrive Here If You...Are passionate about building scalable processes and teams, not just designing interfaces.Can confidently switch between high-level strategy and design ops execution.Know how to bring out the best in others and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback.Thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-driven startup environment.Care deeply about consistency, scalability, and user outcomes over fleeting design trends.Requirements6+ years of design experience, with at least 2 years in a design leadership or management role.Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and team management experience.Deep understanding of modern UI/UX practices, tools (e.g., Figma), and systems.Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects.Excellent communication skills — fluent in English, with the ability to align stakeholders remotely.Based in Indonesia, and comfortable working remotely with teams in Malaysia (HQ timezone: GMT+8).Our Team & CultureWe’re a lean, high-performance team that moves fast and holds a high bar.
