Closets by Design is seeking a Designer/Sales Representative for their Lexington location. The role involves meeting with clients to assess their needs, developing customized design solutions, and managing customer relationships throughout the sales process. Responsibilities Meet with clients in their homes to assess their storage and organizational needs Develop creative, customized design solutions that align with their style and functionality goals Present design concepts and guide clients through the decision-making process Handle objections with grace, ensuring clients feel informed and excited Manage customer relationships from the first consultation to the final installation Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals through consultative selling and relationship-building Stay up to date with design trends and product offerings to offer the best solutions to clients Skills Natural communicator—persuasive, engaging, and able to inspire excitement in others Ability to build relationships and make clients feel heard and valued Consensus-based, collaborative, and experiential problem solver Enjoy variety in workday—meeting with clients, creating design solutions, and closing deals Ability to serve quickly with a smile and follow up on details in a timely manner Enjoy sharing thoughts through verbal processing or previous experiences related to similar situations Adaptable and quick-thinking, able to overcome objections and guide clients toward the best solution Desire to be a valuable member of the team and focus on supportive and harmonious behaviors Naturally optimistic, believe in people, and bring natural enthusiasm and energy to the work environment Driver's License (Required) Benefits Uncapped earning potential—commission-based with significant income growth opportunities.
