The Design Assistant will support the Design Manager and team with daily tasks, technical documentation, and market research while fostering a culture of inclusivity and personal growth. Responsibilities Assist the Design Manager and team with daily tasks, acting as a vital support to ensure smooth workflow Create flat sketches and technical specifications for styles designed by senior team members Support in preparing presentations for various stages of the design process, including file setup, mock-bolthires, and prototypes Attend fittings and design/product-related meetings to capture feedback and actions Update overview files and line sheets to maintain accurate records Observe and learn from critical design work to develop your design perspective Stay informed of current color trends, art, fashion, design, and sport-related products through market research to keep ahead of consumer needs Skills A BA, BFA, or BS in Design (or equivalent) is required Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word, and Mac platforms is also required Experience and understanding of knitted fabrics and sweaters is highly beneficial, with experience in seamless knitwear considered a plus but not required An understanding of Ai design tools is beneficial but not required 0–2 years of industry experience is preferred Portfolio link or PDF to be submitted with application is preferred Benefits Extended health and dental benefits, and mental health plans Paid time off Savings and retirement plan matching Generous employee discount Fitness & yoga classes Parenthood top-up Extensive catalog of development course offerings People networks, mentorship programs, and leadership series (to name a few) Company Overview Lululemon is a technical athletic apparel company for yoga, running, training, and other sweaty pursuits.It was founded in 1998, and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
