In this role, you will be responsible for reconciling all incoming deposits across multiple accounts accurately and efficiently. You will work across multiple platforms and ensure seamless coordination between our operations, finance, and agent support teams.This is a key position that supports the financial integrity of our brokerage operations and ensures compliance with industry regulations and trust accounting standards.What You’ll Do:Monitor and track all incoming deposits into brokerage trust and operating accounts on a daily basis.Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, matching, posting and recording incoming deposits’ dataIdentify the source and purpose of each deposit, including commission payments, client deposits, and third-party transfers.Liaise with real estate agents, conveyancers, brokers, and other stakeholders to confirm deposit details.Match deposits to corresponding deals, transactions, or invoices in the brokerage management system.Ensure timely and accurate entry of deposit data into internal systems and financial records.Investigate and resolve any unidentified or misallocated deposits by communicating with the bank, customers or internal teamsMaintain detailed records of all reconciliations and communications for audit and compliance purposes.Preparing journal entries draftGenerate and maintain reportsCollaborate with the finance and transaction teams to support month-end and year-end processes.Adheres to financial laws and guidelinesAssist in refining deposit tracking and reconciliation workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.What You’ll Bring:Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting softwareAttention to Detail: An almost "surgical" level of accuracy with data entry, ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date recordsProblem Solving and Investigation: The ability to think outside the box when trying to match the incoming payment with limited informationAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentOrganizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesEducation & Experience:BComm in Accounting, finance, or relevant fieldExperience with training and oversight of operationsHow We Work: Our Operating PrinciplesOur Operating Principles are the blueprint of Real’s culture.
