Department Analyst - Patient Flow
About the position Responsibilities • Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units. • Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs. • Prepare reports based on analysis. • Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance. • Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact and identifies opportunities for service and program improvement. • Develop special reports and recommendations. • Provide input in the development of operational plans, procedures, and systems. • Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvements. • Maintain awareness of and complies with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.). Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field. • One year of statistical analysis experience. • OR High School diploma/GED and six years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements. • OR Associate's degree and four years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements. • OR Master's degree and one year of experience may substitute the work experience requirement.
