In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating insurance coverage for patients, verifying eligibility, and ensuring timely reimbursement for dental services. You will work closely with patients, insurance companies, and the billing department to streamline the payment process and provide excellent customer service.
*Responsibilities:**
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
Coordinate with insurance companies to submit claims and follow up for reimbursement
Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and coverage
Work closely with the billing department to resolve any insurance-related issues
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records
Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and billing procedures
*Requirements:**
Previous experience in dental insurance coordination or billing
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with dental billing software is a plus
