Dental Insurance Account Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Manager that can submit $1,000,000.00 in claims per month and post $500,000.00. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy in payment posting, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. Responsibilities • Manage and supervise the billing for 8 practices, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.• Oversee the payment posting for 8 practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with practice policies. • Monitor billing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve overall customer satisfaction. • Ensure timely collections of payments and follow up on overdue accounts. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to billing practices and payment posting practices.Experience: • Proven experience in a dental billing and payment posting role i.e Dental Office Manager, Dental Biller, Dental Insurance Coordinator, etc. • Strong understanding of dental billing software and financial reporting tools. Dentrix, Curve, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, SoftDent, iDent, etc. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
