The Role
We are looking for Dental Admission Test (DAT) Tutors who are passionate about education and driven to help students succeed in DAT test preparation and dental school admissions. If you love mentoring, one-on-one tutoring, test prep, and empowering others, this is the role for you. You'll work one-on-one with pre-dental students, create personalized DAT study plans, and provide expert guidance to help them excel on every section of the DAT exam. This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Responsibilities
• Tutor students one-on-one on all sections of the Dental Admission Test (DAT)
• Tailor a DAT test prep curriculum to students' individual learning needs
• Track and analyze student performance and progress metrics
• Create and maintain DAT tutoring project trackers to monitor student progress
• Keep students' families up to date on DAT preparation progress and milestones
• Be passionate about education and serve as an expert DAT tutor and mentor for your students
Qualifications
• Have a 4-year college degree (Bachelor's Degree or higher required)
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Have previously taken the Dental Admission Test (copy of official score report required)
• 1–2 years of teaching, tutoring, or academic coaching experience
• Able to provide DAT test preparation for the full exam and each section
• Superior attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Comfortable teaching and coaching in a fully remote tutoring environment
• A baseline DAT Academic Average (AA) score of 510+
