Democratic Attorney's General Association : Development Associate
The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) is seeking an entry-level Development Associate to support their Development Department. This role involves assisting with fundraising responsibilities, managing donor communications, and coordinating event logistics to meet fundraising goals for the upcoming election cycle.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Development Department on all aspects of the DAGA’s Partnership ProgramExecute department invoicing, purchase orders and payments, maintain tracking documents, updating department databaseSupport moves management processes including research, prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, pledge follow up and call time and completing all necessary follow up at each stageSupport ongoing donor research and prospecting programsPartner stewardship, including scheduling meetings with donors, facilitating high-level donor communications and outreach, and completing all necessary follow up from meetings/callsSupport partner activations at conferences, including managing meeting briefings to ensure accuracy of informationDraft memos and background materials for development meetings and events for AGs and DAGA leadershipSupport event fundraising logistics including managing venue selection, creating invitations, managing RSVPs, and coordinating day of logistics with attention to detailRequired work on some evenings and weekends for fundraising eventsSkillsBachelor's Degree (preferred)1-2 Years Campaign Experience (internship, volunteering included), fundraising experience preferredExperience with CRM (NGP Preferred)Ability to function independently and in a team environmentAbility to meet deadlinesStrong Decision-Making and Organizational SkillsEvent Coordination ExperienceExperienced in Donor ResearchExtremely Detail OrientedSense of humor and positive attitude with your team, DAGA staff, and Attorney's GeneralInterest in furthering the mission of DAGABenefitsFully paid health, dental, and vision benefits (includes employees and dependents)401K match, up to 6%Short and long-term disability benefitsLife insurance benefitsPretax spending accountsMonthly commuter benefitMonthly remote work stipendCompany OverviewArena brings together, trains, and supports the next generation of candidates and campaign workers.
