**Job Description:**
As a Junior Flight Attendant at Delta Airlines, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers while upholding Delta’s reputation for award-winning customer service. You will work closely with a team to prepare the cabin, assist passengers, and manage in-flight services.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft cabin is prepped for the flight
– Greet passengers, assist with seating, and provide a detailed safety demonstration
– Serve meals, beverages, and sell onboard duty-free items
– Offer exceptional customer service and respond to passengers’ inquiries
– Manage in-flight emergencies and provide first aid as needed
– Ensure cabin conditions are maintained and secure during flight
– Assist passengers and fellow crew members during boarding and deboarding
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 21 years
– High school diploma or GED equivalent (required)
– Ability to relocate as needed and flexible availability including weekends and holidays
– Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
– Ability to handle emergency situations and work under pressure
– Height must be proportionate to weight and physical ability to reach overhead bins
– Must pass a rigorous background and drug screening process
– Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High School Diploma or GED required
– Further certification or training in hospitality or customer service is advantageous but not required
**Experience:**
– Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not necessary
– Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
