**Job Description:**
As a Junior Flight Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers while maintaining professionalism and adhering to federal regulations. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to service, and the flexibility to work a varied schedule including overnight layovers.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks, monitor cabin during flight, and manage post-flight procedures.
– Provide a welcoming environment for passengers, assist with onboard services, and respond to in-flight emergencies.
– Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and airline policies.
– Attend and successfully complete all required training programs and stay up-to-date with all safety guidelines.
– Assist passengers with special needs and maintain a tidy cabin environment.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 18.
– High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
– Must be able to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods.
– Possess a valid passport or the ability to obtain one.
– Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
– Must be able to work on a flexible schedule, weekends, and holidays included.
– Physically fit to meet the demands of the role including handling luggage up to 50 pounds.
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– Further certifications in Hospitality, Travel, or related fields preferred.
**Experience:**
– Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
