**Job Description:**
As a Flight Attendant at Delta Airlines, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle in-flight emergencies, and ensure all airline regulations are followed. This position requires a high degree of adaptability, an impeccable standard of personal appearance, and the ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and poise.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks, receive prepared meals, beverages, and equipment.
– Assist passengers in storing carry-on luggage.
– Conduct safety demonstrations and ensure all passengers adhere to safety regulations.
– Serve meals and beverages and sell onboard duty-free goods.
– Provide special attention to certain passengers, such as the elderly, small children, or those who suffer from illness or anxiety.
– Administer and coordinate emergency medical care as necessary.
– Prepare reports on flight incidents, including safety, service, and security issues.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
– Ability to pass a rigorous background check and drug screening.
– Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
– Must be able to fluently speak and write in English. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
– Ability to adapt to varying work schedules and work in a confined space at high altitudes.
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High school diploma or GED required.
– Higher education in hospitality, communication, tourism, or related field is advantageous.
**Experience:**
– Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
– Previous airline-specific training is highly regarded but not mandatory as comprehensive paid training will be provided.
