Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers. You will work in a remote setting and be expected to handle a variety of customer inquiries and issues via phone, email, and chat. Your primary goal will be to ensure that every customer has a positive experience with Delta Airlines.

Key Responsibilities


Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Provide accurate and up-to-date information about our flights, fares, and policies
Assist customers with booking, changing, and canceling flights
Handle customer complaints and concerns in a fair and courteous manner
Utilize our computer systems to access customer information and provide solutions
Work collaboratively with other customer service representatives to resolve issues and improve processes


Ticketing and Door Specialist Responsibilities


Utilize a PC to sell, print, and reissue tickets
Manage the check-in process, ensuring that clients have the proper documentation for travel
Tag luggage and perform lifting tasks that involve moving luggage from scales to transport lines
Assist clients with steering, trip planning, and door boarding
Use PCs to help clients with seat availability, door declarations regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling luggage, making due, and starting the loading process


Stuff Controller/Incline Administrator Responsibilities


Securely lift, load, dump, and transport luggage, mail, and freight to and from aircraft
Responsible for on-time connections by directing approaching and leaving aircraft from the gate positions
Protect freight, luggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather
Securely drive and operate ground gear like pulls, belt loaders, and tow farm vehicles in areas of congestion
Work luggage scanners and PCs to ensure items and freight are steered accurately to the traveler's destination


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 80 pounds
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Proficient in English, both written and oral
Valid work visa or authorization to work in the country of application


Preferred Qualifications


Previous customer service experience
Experience working in an airport or airline environment
Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
