Job Title: Consultant, Program Management-ITLocation: Remote IndiaJoin us as a Project Manager on our Database Engineering team in India to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you’ll achieveAs a Project Manager, you will be leading teams of professionals in completing projects to achieve business initiatives. These projects are in the database area for Dell’s Services line of business, which includes project Apex.You will:Communicate with team members, stakeholders, and internal customers, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule and achieve objectives.Organize project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to timelines.Delegate tasks on the project to team members best positioned to complete them.Make effective decisions on how to progress with the project and achieve business objectives.Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.Communicate with senior leaders to keep the project aligned with their goals.Perform quality control on projects to maintain the standards expected.Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.Essential Requirements12 to 15 years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent job function.Strong communications skills in English.Desirable RequirementsExperience with data science.Experience with problem solving and consensus building.Able to deal with ambiguity.Strong teamwork skills.Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
