Job Summary
This role focuses on driving processes and execution oversight for Engineering Teams. You will enable Product Engineering team productivity and agility by demonstrating SAFe/Agile/Scrum concepts and principles where appropriate.
You will focus on team execution Organizational Context. As a member of a product delivery team reporting to PD&I director, you will lead technical solutions and architecture design with the engineering & product team.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Lead technical solutions and architecture design with the engineering & product team
Ā Drives team/release level processes demonstrating servant leadership coupled with domain knowledge and technical savviness
Ā Support product owners by ensuring backlog refinement and readiness
Ā Create data-driven insights into the delivery and execution of the team using relevant team level metrics
Ā Provide visibility into gaps, issues, risks, and opportunities across Agile teams
Ā Manages external relationships, e.g. product or vendor partners
Technical Skills
Ā Understand the teams technical platforms and applications, and leading design & solutioning
Ā Live the Agile and SAFe Values and Principles
Ā Respectfully and purposefully challenge the status quo
Ā Inspires collaboration and quality practices between system architects, Agile teams, and product teams
Ā Provides guidance to ensure the timely identification and prioritization of technical infrastructure to support implementation of priority features and enablers, e.g. Architectural Runway
Ā Promotes compliance with SDLC standards across the team
Product Delivery & Integration
Ā Influence without authority through effective change and leadership management
Ā Works in partnership with Product Owners and the core and extended team to build and prioritize the product backlog
Ā Responsible for tracking iteration progress, actively adding to design discussions, issue resolution, and removing obstacles to ensure sprint/iteration commitments are met
